Human peripheral blood delivered hand-carried from Iceland to the Netherlands

We successfully completed the secure delivery of a highly sensitive shipment: two sealed 4 ml EDTA vials containing human peripheral blood, transported from Reykjavik, Iceland to Leiden, Netherlands.

Due to strict handling requirements, the sample was not permitted to be exposed to any radiation – meaning no x-ray or similar screening was allowed at security checkpoints. Thanks to precise coordination and careful manual clearance at KEF airport, this was managed without delay.

After landing in Amsterdam, our OBC continued the journey by train, delivering the shipment personally to the recipient in Leiden the same day – safe, intact, and on time.
