Two sealed 4 ml EDTA tubes containing human peripheral blood were transported from Wroclaw, Poland, to Leiden, Netherlands. The routing included a flight via Warsaw to Amsterdam, followed by a train connection to Leiden.
The shipment required special handling, as the samples were not permitted to be exposed to radiation. No X-ray screening was allowed at departure, ensuring the integrity of the medical material throughout the journey.
